ULF Information for Candidates and Schools
Information for candidates and schools, previously in partnership with the Urban Learning Foundation and the University of Gloucestershire.
GTP:
Many of the primary places formerly allocated to ULF have been re-allocated in 2010 – 11 to PGCE providers. London North Consortium is the only provider, which has been allocated ULF places, that deals exclusively with Employment Based Routes. The supply of GTP places in London has therefore decreased, while demand is increasing.
LoNoCo is geographically based and in partnership with seven London Boroughs. We are incorporated to offer places first to partnership schools in our partner LAs (category 1), then to other schools in the partner LAs (category 2), then to schools from outside the partner area (category 3). As a result, candidates and schools from outside the partnership area are welcome to apply. However, if applications from category 1 and 2 exceed the number of places available, there is no guarantee that any category 3 candidates will be offered an interview, or be successful in gaining a place on the programme. Please read the information elsewhere on the website to find out about on-line registration and how to apply.
OTTP:
The consortium is able to offer “Associate” places on the OTTP to candidates from outside the partner LA area. Applications for LoNoCo OTT places from partner LA schools are currently lower than in previous years. Up to 40 places per term are available to support experienced overseas qualified teachers. Please read the information elsewhere on the website to find out about on-line registration and how to apply.
